Thanks albert for clearing that up, i’ve wondered what the regs were obviously a chip based transmitter would never pass regs in the uk, i’m not sure what the regs are when it comes to inband noise, the fcc passed the cze ones which is abit strange. I do remember someone getting into trouble over there because of the overly wide signal, a bhchip would pass for inband noise if the power was low enough, but the signal would be too wide. If someone was able to make a transmitter with a clean vco, what would the regs be? what equipment would you need to measure a stereo pilot, check it was at the right level..is there something cheap that would do that, I see people using sdr's I don't see how their doing that, I can't see the 38khz carriers
The transmitters are us does sound abit of a dodgy outfit anyway, theres other companies you would go to for such a big transmitter, if you were looking for 2kw, expect it would only be going in licenced stations here.
