I was not sure where to post this so here goes.
What is the current situation with OFCOM. I have information that OFCOM have suffered significant cuts over the last few years, this has directly impacted their field operations and pirate radio investigations.
It is my understanding that OFCOM now only investigate and take action against pirate radio stations that are causing a direct problem re interference, and are leaving the rest alone. Im assuming this would effect pirates on all bands from FM through to LW (not that there's any left on LW).
Does anyone else know much more?

Re: OFCOM
I can't see this being the case otherwise we'd all be relaunching our stations again with impunity
It is known that some stations used to be given advanced notice of any impending field trips to their patch via the rare Ofcom personnel who plays nice if you're nice too.
