I guarantee you will not hear any difference between your expensive ones and this.

I bought a couple of these from Banggood for about £14 each. They're very quiet, and have low distortion too. I wanted them for studio output links, and preceded them with a basic split-band limiter. You're entirely right - they're indistinguishable from the expensive ones!
