I had the opportunity to test a couple of years ago 6000 series stereo encoders. + 10.5dB @ 15KHz is far from 50us. By correcting the components, correct preemphasis can be achieved, but then there is a mod. overshoot approx. 30%! For amateur / home use or broadcasting in Africa this may pass, but this equipment is not a serious player for commercial use in Europe. Albert, when you mentioned BEXT and , I wonder if you had any experience with Suono telecom equipment? According to the specifications, it should be ok for professional use, and yet it is significantly cheaper compared to the famous Italian brands. What's the catch?
