and how long you reckon this will last? No doubt another RSL will pop up on there soon enough. Sure they were back on a week or so ago.

But also believe it's hard for a station to return after a decade away almost, my view that is others might differ.

Touch vanished when VOA moved to 94.0, that was nowhere near 10 years ago.

It was just over 10 years ago that Touch started. It's only been off for a couple of years I think. I seem to remember them using 94.2 or something like that before giving up?

I remember hearing Touch on 96.2 and 99.0 around 15 years ago or more.

Voice of Africa were given their power increase (50w to 200w ERP) on the 25th of February 2011, Touch were certainly on up until then.

That was a different touch fm, the one on now started on 94.0 a little under 10 years ago and has came back...

I assumed they had to be the same, using the same name, playing the very same styles and coming out of the same area.

Maybe it was them bouncing around a bit but i know there was one with the same name before and on 96.2.....

I know the main owner of Station 89.8 had something to do with the Touch on 96.2 as that's who we spoke with when we made them move off our dial (96.1), this was back when I was working with Supreme some time between 1998-2001. We removed them from a derelict block in Muswell Hill (now been demolished).

The old touch FM which I remember used to play deep house all the time, and one of the mangement of touch at that time brother in law was part of the Station Fm set up.

Yeah it was 94.1 but that was over 20 years ago, I remember they came back on 89.6 about 10 years ago as one of my good pals was running it at the time out of Cricklewood/Kilburn.

Getting Touch really well tonight in south east suburbs, good signal 37-40dB on the Sony

Massive welcome back Touch.
