I done this once with ofcom after I shutdown a radio I had on as had a near miss with them nearly finding us.
I was down in Cornwall back then and was the only pirate on, the information from them said 1 pirate station was traced after 1 complaint was received but no convictions resulted.
All it takes is one a$$hole to complain and they are on your case.

Mine was not Juice, that was before I was down there but was based in Newquay.
That would be my request you see fuze, I only did it to see if I was reported. I manged to shut it down just as ofcom and 2 plod were across the road, they went to a house with a taxi repeater antenna on so they assumed that is where it was. When they came out they were looking up in the trees and that for any links. They could not find anything so plod went and the 2 ofcom guys mooched around a few more minutes then went away. I never fired it up again there and moved away 4 months later anyway.

This was my request: Linky

That's a good read (the Ofcom bit) - It looks like numbers are down from previous years.
