Canadian here. Im just a part time "broadcaster" and an avid diy'er. Im currently looking at building a collinear antenna to try oit as I am surrounded by woods and it is difficult to get out.....although I will be working on getting the antenna higher up. I have a warner rf fmt 150 (fmt 2.0) which had an issue of the rf power oscillating....but I fixed it and if anyone is interested I can share the details. I also just picked up an elenos etg 1000 which should be exciting but it's been off the air a few years so Im gonna give er a checkup before I plug it in. I started broadcasting about 25 years ago (yeah,im old ish) with a broadcast warehouse 1 watt pll lcd kit which still works!! I was using a homemade slim jim about 30' high and got several km's out!
