Anyone got any idea what this was all about?

....Heard PLAYBACK weak on 106.0 end of last month, I noticed a few stations had gone off including 105.6 which had went off a couple of days before and then I found them much weaker signal on 106.0 which was weird.

Then a few days later back on 105.6 again good strong solid signal and just a weak blank silent carrier left on 106.0.
.....Any idea what was going on? I was using the South London SDR tuner and as you can see the website confirms the same audio...

Maybe a dodgy box sprogging out

Yes NOW it is, but when I did that video it was definitely only on 106.0

I don't doubt that it was on 106 briefly but probably unintended and faulty equipment?

maybe a test before it gets moved back

I guess we'll just have to keep guessing.

I am picking up some distance heart style radio station on 106 today as I am still in Windsor I didn't keep it on 106 to find out as so many heart clones on now

I think it's called Nation Radio coming from the IoW but it's changed names a good few times now (Original FM, Greatest Hits, Jack FM, Sam FM, Coast FM )

Is that the same Nation now on 107.5fm

In all fairness I do actually know someone who's good pals with the owner of Playback but I haven't spoken to that person in a few years now and don't wanna be weird phoning just to ask him to try and find out for me "why was it on 106.0" lol,
....so thought it was worth a try asking on here but I guess we will never know haha.

Yes it is the same people who bought Time 107.5 and it's spreading all over the country hence me calling it yet another Heart radio clone
