I'm locked into Kool on DAB and all of a sudden, the audio locks off. Checking the signal on my newly acquired Sony XDR-S60DBP and the signal shows 0. Quickly checking the other station on the London Mini Mux and their all off, other muxes are fine.
As i type this it's still off
I hope the stations get some kinda refund for the down-time god knows its costing them a lot.

The company behind the Trial MUX (UDAB) has been awarded the North London DAB Licence , so perhaps they were carrying out some upgrade works?

Unbelievable, they give U DAB another license when they can just about manage to keep the 9A mux on the air. Their 9A block is now (
as i type this) experiencing issues again. long periods of no audio playing and the signal level is bouncing from 0 - 15
I bet kool and rinse must be happy

It's not another licence. It's a replacement licence. London is being split up into North & Central, Northeast, Southeast, South and West minimuxes and Trial 9A will end at some point next year.
U.DAB have announced that most of the services currently on the Trial mux have signed up to be on the new North & Central London service.

I hear ya, thanks for the clarification. I guess most stations are happy with their service which is fair enough and most would be incline to stay with UDAB to benefit from the new North & Central London coverage even if they don't even know when the mux is off air.
