A Bit Quiet on Here
Where is everyone?
"Why is my rig humming?"
"Because it doesn't know the words!"

in retirement and safety is not comparable to those who have a race for life. I have loved FM since the early 90s, the practice stopped in the late 90s, and new achievements have been made since 2018. It is the greatest honor to know you from that world. I met a few more people from Greece. incredibly noble people. Thank you all. blessed were they

Re: A Bit Quiet on Here
I kind of agree, i’ve not listened to am for a few months, listen to dutch pirates, they don’t come in now, fm I only listen to my own around the house transmitters. I am getting alot of jamming every few days from sparodic e throught my transmission, I wouldn’t of really of noticed it, if I wasn’t switching a transmitter on and off, theres no reason to listen to fm at all if not for listening to your own music thought a transmitter. I’ve heard there might be some stations on shortwave around 6mhz, I watch videos of a guy in the north west, he seems to use the telescopic rod, part of the problem with shortwave you can’t use the ferrite antenna you can with mw, its also a huge area of frequencies.

Re: A Bit Quiet on Here
there's parallels with the forums for underground rave/electronic music and associated lifestyles (I was a mod on one of the most popular ones of the 2000s) - a move from a larger subculture to a niche one with an ageing population of participants (but with younger folk still joining out of curiosity or because their parents were involved in the scene).
Also many aspects of both subcultures are in a legal grey area, so smart people (and pretty much everyone on here is above average intelligence) know to be wary about privacy/security, particularly as the same Communications Ministries worldwide that search for pirates are increasingly tasked with policing the Internet (so I can understand if folk still involved with active pirates are a bit quiet, I saw at first hand on the rave scene what happened when folk got too keen on bragging online about what they got up to..)
That said, this place is healthier than the old rave forums which have mostly gone or are full of spam content..
