Not been on here in years, took ages to change password, kept getting invalid form messages.

Also getting random logouts and difficulty login in (same invalid form message), some problem with phpBB install?

Apart from that, nice to see the board is still up... :tup

Jim

It's more likely to be a browser issue - particularly if you're "running" Windoze.

I also get this message when attempting to log out - not noticed before as always kicked out before getting the chance to log out.

"You were not logged out, as the request did not match your session."

It would suggest some sort of cookie problem, or maybe phpbb still uses a users ip address as part of the session management, and mine is prone to changing at random. If I try to log out a second time then it works. When I changed the password, I had to get the change link, land on the page and hit refresh first before it would work.

I have no browser settings that reject anything from this site.

Could possibly be a browser issue, not sure how the os would be of any relevance tbh.

I've changed a few settings again to see if it helps.

I've logged in to this site using four different browsers - Chromium, Firefox, Vivaldi and Opera - and I get the same results from each. I have a Pi Hole on my network to filter out adverts, and various browser filters, and have no issues with any of the browsers (running on Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon Desktop). It's also OK on Fedora / Firefox, and on an Android phone using Tapatalk.

Nothing has changed here before or after your changes, SD-E1102.

The board does seem a lot more stable over the past couple of days so far. It could be my use of a mobile internet connection is somehow not liked. I can't test on a fixed connection now that I've gone completely wireless (why bother with a landline, when one mobile connection does it all?)
