So yet again it's about that time.

And although no one even listens to radio on FM any more and they've all moved on to bigger and better things like D.A.B, lets see if any stations can get even just one vote??

And Merry Christmas you sausage lovers.

Has to the replacement station on 99.3 digital soul I know it's mainly replays of shows a lot but it's a very professional sound and is a bit different from the others and I noticed project 106.5 isn't on the list anymore

After the weekend tribute shows, Rude wins it for me. Every show was fire. Kool also, but more a few select shows.

FYI Omega 104.1 isn't on the list. Listening to Infrared on 105.1 right now and it's pure fire.

Rude for pure quality of music, my cuppa of tea when it comes to drum & bass. Divine for consistency and signal although am not getting them right now. S-Dance for a banging signal and amazingly consistent, not as many live shows as other stations but a great listen

Kool might have been on and off FM this year, (it's on right now), but the quality of the shows, Bunters Carry on etc. have been top notch. Kool 30!

Yeah Kool deserve a whole lot of love 30 years on air. Incredible. Ofcom should so give them a licence They are professionally run - shows professionally produced!!!

It's likely Eastman doesn't want it to go legal. We've seen how Flex has become more commercial the longer they've been legal and I suspect Select will become similar as well. Only Rinse has kept it largely underground during evenings and weekends.

The internet stream and low powered rebroadcast on 94.6 is enough for them and cheaper to run than either going for a community licence on FM or go on DAB as Eruption have.

It's clear that most of the people on this forum prefer the drum and bass stations by a long way

Not a patch on its original 101.3 days. A lot of the guys on there now a days don’t stop talking all over the vocals , and for a now legal dab station has some extremely poor presenters and djs..

Could not have put it better myself the change in style and attitude in just a few short years between the mid 80s and early 90s is unbelievable I was watching you tube tonight with horizon and LWR est and they sound so professional in stark contrast to the in fighting and madness that followed

I live in Woolwich and started listening and getting involved in pirate about 1988 when Acid started coming about.
I never used to pay any sttention to the radio before that. I am just wondering were the stations back in London say before 1988 all playing kinda Soul Reggae rap etc or was there any stations which played the more sort of Underground kind of sound?
What I mean is maybe times changed in radio as times moved on with the Underground house music scene coming in maybe late 1987 but well in by 1988. And as things moved along we had all genres come along like Hardcore/Jungle/Garage/DnB etc etc.
There are still plenty of stations on that I can receive playing Reggae soul set so what is so different about today?
