Has anyone noticed how much this once got station has completely gone downhill in the last year?

I mean good station that it was?

Point Blank used to run tings in the last decade to 6/7 years ago but with big signals and consistency comes heat from council and offcom. In recent times they seem to have kept it to West London . Luckily for me im always working in the van around west so it bubbles nice for me until i head home on the m4 by the time i reach the m25 the signals not that great. Id say its a decent station with good djs and good sound always on my preset

I never have a problem picking it up as it happens to be about 12 miles closer to me than my current favourite on 100.3? The Intresting point you made is broadcasting on lower power is almost certainly safer?

I ment they need a clear out of to many dead wood djs and to bring back the djs from about 4 years ago that made it such a good station at this time?

Must agree years ago Point Blank really took over from Freeze from broadcast coverage. I have found it difficult to get them this year as much as I got them previous years.

I was not talking about the reception I was moaning about how boring some of the djs have become latley? As for broadcasting on higher power point blank? they had to many problems with ofcom at the time so they turned it down later?

Slightly off topic but I do agree with famefm . djs used to seem to have energy in their voice whilst hosting shows etc. now most stations are more internet , that ruff & ruggedness seems to have drifted away. Saying that though their are plenty of decent shows still to be heard but yeah definately second that comment, some djs sound boring. fm had a edginess about it once upon a time , bring back those days !

Thank you? It's complacency that has crept in big time? Like the dj that does 2 five hour morning shows a week? It's the same old same old every week same old tunes and the same people texting in each day ?you would only have to tape one show every 6 months because the next show will sound exactly the same as the last show?

Not really noticed the dj's not hyping up their shows, cant say I really I worry about there dj's just the music. But if they aint bringing a vibe to their shows I know what you mean.

Dave Stewart every Wednesday and Friday 7 till 12 he has been around since at least 1985 I first heard hon radio TK0 102.4 as a young dj and was a good dj then? He is still good at his job now but he sounds like he needs a 100000 miles service?

They are off for improvements and will be back soon according to their facebook.

They need to get back to how they used to be about 5 years ago they have become very complacent and boring over the last year or 2
