since sunday i’ve been hearing stations from neatherlands this morning too, coming in clear and strong enough to say if you where just outside the service area of a transmitter would interfere.

They on every frequency all way from the bottom of the band to the top, some of them like radio 538 play dance, another on 95.2, this kind of event only happens once a year or every two years so enjoy if you can, unless of course it is effecting your signal. :lol:

Ain't enjoying it 1 bit in Kent it's taking out loads of stations the BBC stations were fucking everywhere as if there ain't enough of them already lol heard some weird rock music on 875 sure it was German hoping it clears asap

Haha yeah it's certainly that time of year. I've had loads going on the last few days. Last night I had a fair few London pirates I've never heard before!

Yes i had some German or Dutch stations on 87.7 and 88.0 and pretty clear.. Also had West hull community radio coming in on 106.95.. What power do they use...about ten watts or summat innit?

Here in North London, I could get several Dutch, German, Belgian and French stations. The band was absolutely full at about 8.30 this evening!

I had a few mails from the UK that people received Danceradio on 87.5 :)

heard a station from hull on 107.4 last nigth, on my tiny radio... when i had a sony xdr was playing with a loft aerial i could get west hull 106.9, think it might be 200w i'm pretty sure seaside fm run 20w they don't get much beyound beverley..

the dutch and german stations are of much better quality then anything being broadcast south of the water in fact all stations in the capital are now terrible so much has changed in 10 years

It's been going the other way too, like I said in the ramadan thread. RSLs from Bristol and Swindon heard in Finland.
