years ago we had one of those cordless phones, the base station would use a frequency just above mw band, you could hear it in the speakers of a hifi afew feet away, if your in a flat might be something to weary of, the rf field breaking through, most tvs can withstand a strong rf field, theres no analogue signal to interfere with, could be easily interfered with.
Even something like half a watt on fm, can maybe break through audio equipment in the same room, I did have some when testing, I think it was 1 watt, to nearby car radio with a tef chip inside of it bit of humming, I didn't notice it with the vintronics 4w thought.
