Stuart Clarke's Pirates

Post by Dec Wash » Fri Nov 15, 2024 11:51 am

Stuart Clarke is of course synonymous with Hot Press. However, he was involved with a number of pirate stations in Britain, Ireland and further afield.

UK pirates: Radio Zodiac, Radio Caroline and Radio Mercury

Israeli off-shore pirate: The Voice of Peace

Italy: Radio Sovereign International - it had started off as a UK pirate and then it was moved to Italy so I assume it was still a pirate.

Irish Pirates:

Tramore, Co. Waterford: ABC

Limerick: Hits 954 and Sound Channel/Power 98

Galway: Coast Hot Hits (merger of closed Hits 954 and Galway's Coast 103)

If you know of any other pirates that Stuart was involved with, please add to the list, particularly Irish ones.
