Radio Radar
Hi all. Can anyone tell me anything about a station called Radio Radar who transmitted on VHF in the 1980's and I received them in West Yorkshire. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Radio Radar
I just listened to it over on pirate archive a while ago, it was before my time, it was a very interesting listen, i’ve not heard anything like it, I think there was a similar station over in Keighley I listened to over on youtube. I’ve only ever heard reagae dance pirates from Leeds, quite surprising

Re: Radio Radar
It was broadcasting from the Morley area and used around 70 watts which at the time was plenty due to the clear band and the high location of the transmitter site. As far as I'm aware it was the first pirate radio station in Leeds and I only caught it 2 or 3 times by chance as their musical output was not really my cup of tea at the time.nightracer wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2024 8:20 am Hi all.
