I could just imagine that on dutch pirates. Let's face it some of the music is unusual sounding and not everyones fave maybe, but you
cannot deny it is different at least there is some kind of surprise and that is what surely pirate used the be. The whole point was it was out of the ordinary. And when someone bothers to make a big effort to come on the radio we have no business judging their taste if they like it good for them.

I also heard 1395 playing a Dutch oldie just before bed but not sure if it was pirate or not, may have been Dutch legal small TX. I will cross check the list Albert put up. It is first on the list as

Aalst GLD 1395kHz 100Watts

May have been them.

There is something on 1648, I hear audio every now and then, but only just.Must be a fair bit weaker than 1630. 1620 does well also similar to 1620 signals by ear alone as I only have a signal present LCD on my Sony :) radio which is a shame. Just on the ferrite rod again indoors. Getting all cosy again as the evenings draw in.

Not making it over very well on ferrit tonight. Very noisy I think there was some kind of solar eruption happening probably killing the signals a bit I have a very noisy 1630 playing oldies

All coming in quite well this evening. 1642 strongest and 1630 second strongest, was something 1665 coming in reasonably. 1656 there but weaker noisier on indoors transistor radio internal ferrite.

I re-attached the 20m long dipole which is just 2m above the ground so over winter I can plug the ham radio in again to listen and give the weaker stations a better chance and give actual S meter signal reports. I like to do that every now and then.
