read on a blog radio augusta was raided , https://mediumwave.info/2024/04/06/belgium-3/ someone in belgium was transmitting it 400w, kind of confused me it was broadcast on fm on the ivory coast, don’t know how the same person could be transmitting it over there, maybe bending the laws of physics. I’m still hearing a station on 1611 on an evening, must be a dutch pirate, with lighter evenings i’m not hearing that many over the past week.

I had my suspicions it was not based in Netherlands related to a reception quirk. Always a shame really... they had rather distorted audio most of the time. It did come in pretty strong when I first heard them some months ago.

Thanks for the headsup on that website. MW seems to be having a moment again. Good it's an interesting band once you accept the audio for what it is. The interesting stuff that pops up more than makes up for the low bandwidth audio and it sounds like real radio that you are listening to.
