RF Friends Unfortunately there are many false transistors from China but there are some who are paid to say this is not good. I researched and made sure that under the different markings was the original thing.
Personally, I've been buying fake (different labels) for two years now and they work perfectly. You do not need to believe everything that is posted on the internet .. we need trusted store... only this is important...
p.s.
sorry to everyone who bought real fake.

Well... From my experience :smoke

The picture they use to advertise the product they are selling does not mean that it is what you will receive.

There isn't alot of reviews so to me it tells a story. If you get reviews with loads of folk commenting on them then you'll be sure what to buy and not to buy.

Why don't you put a solid jumper across each screw of the mrf9180 on both ends then screw down but make sure your heatsink is apply a little compound directly underneath then tighten down.

Is that suggestion aimed at me :?:

If it is there is always plenty of heatsink compound under my FETs :tup

As you can see from the picture of Brian's 150W Linear there is a date of 30-11-19 on it :o
Brian's 150W Linear 26V @ 8A-S.jpg
This is the date the MRF9180 was replaced for a genuine one, he has been running at 26V @ 8A for 16hrs a day ever since :tup

In 25 days time that will = 1 year 8-)

MRF9180 is apsolute leader for investment... cheep and nice output... its very sensitive but if have nice protection can run forever... efficiency is above of 80% drive under 500mW out is 180-190W cold run... under 43°C

Is the output clean when you are doing 180 watts output for 500mw input?
