can a bf245 be replaced by a bf256 , it is used in a simple limiter. I have built pira simple limiter years ago , but failed to get a legit 245 so i have ONLY 256 will this do the job and in the same way of implement same pinout ?

It is fully compatible, if it has the letter "A,B or C" the pins go the same, if it is "L" change the central source pin for gain.

Thanks garada . i did that years ago , and i want to give a try , but it is not working , i will post a picture of it . my only difference is the capacitor of 0.33 uf , i changed to 0.22uF
