Glasgow Pirates?
Any users remember any of the pirates around Glasgow early,mid and late 90's?

I remember in my location in Middlesbrough I could hear a station pulse an active fm they pumped through hear when it was windy as hell. Think round about 1999. It was blasted out via my old side bander which I received pretty clear on windy days. Never got it on fm out in Middlesbrough but picked it up through that as my mate picked them up on fm which he's in Scotland well not spoke to him in years thought. so then he keyed up on his side bander then I received it on a windy day I recall it. lmao ahhh that explains it.........thought you gonna say you had a 6 ele fm yagi up a hill with a top of the range tuner.

pure was more hit and miss if her were on but paradise was every sunday night with guest djs used to get the cassettes posted down to me from family made good listening think the paradise guys went on to become professional djs

Club FM, Allusion FM, Mixolgy, Ka-oss FM, Horizon FM... This list goes on. In The 90's the airwaves in Glasgow were littered with pirates, particularly the late 90's. Club FM is still running to this day, only 1 of 2 current active stations alongside Pulse FM.
