Bring back livefm 91.8 ? It was last used by anthor station so I take that one has gone. I don't know why they bother because a west London licenced station is on 91.8

Because that station barely even covers a 5 mile radius.

I think you are right but I think in the early days of Hayes fm they did complain a lot and passion made a point of finding 979 to use as the main transmiter instead of 918 and just using a low power 918 for a while before they closed down and live later on must have left 918 for a reason

Tecks it’s no longer at the church, Hasn’t been there for years it’s been relocated to a school.

At one point they were using a folded dipole on top of a clarke mast you could see if from the road. But no antenna insight now? When there wasn’t a station co-existing on 91.8 it could be heard the other side of Watford but when heading into London you would lose it around Hammersmith/Fulham.

Every time I do the usual scan and come across it, it’s always been automated program “less talk, more music” hardly any live shows, same .gov adverts and doesn’t meet the key commitments it set out in the beginning.
How it’s survived this long is mystery!

Ofcom don’t seem to regulate these licences, as long as they pay and don’t get complaints it stays I suppose!

And its getting out further again like in the beginning I am over 14 miles away from Hayes as the crow flies and I can get it with the RDS working Hayes fm

Passion never used low power for 91.8, it was over the north east side of London to cover that area and 97.9 was more over west London area. But just because you didn't pick them up on 91.8 very strong due to it's location from you, doesn't make it a "low power" rig.

Ohhh the lies!

9 miles is not over 14 miles.

...So I'm not sure which route your crow was flying.

9 miles from Hayes only? What a thought .I know the crow probably doesn't like Hayes then. Okay I can see I got that wrong

Came across this photo of Hayes FM antenna system on a mast.

But as mentioned before, the last I was in the area that it was gone so don't know if its been relocated further into the grounds?
