UKs Finest 87.5

Post by house-every-weekend » Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:35 pm

I used to enjoy this station, it covered an big area where I used to live that had no pirates at all, Oxfordshire, Beds, Bucks, even into Hampshire and Berkshire. Is there anyone playing the old school 90s rave, hardcore, jungle they used to play? Where did the DJ's go? I think it came back as a different station name later on that i can't remember now

Raw Innocence is 87.5 but I don't think it's on at the moment. I was picking them up Hammersmith a couple of months ago but nothing since.

Good to have pointblank and release but I don't share your enthusiasm for centreforce and unity and I am surprised none of the other people involved with lee John's 87.5 stations have tried to come back with a new station looks 87.5 is only livefmuk on the east side these day's?

oh right....yea I see what you mean? the new wave of djs the kids are streaming on TIKTOK. Internet stations are ok but you can't beat the Broadcast to an Airwave. The DAB+ stations nowdays are as close as we can get to A pirate feel with good stable signal...The Fm is only good now in an old beaten up vauxhall van lol. You prob have thousands if not millions of people still tuning into FM. Can't see 87.5 coming back if I'm honest

Kane FM are sticking to community Radio on the FM. I did ask will you go DAB and they won't be. Kane FM was A wicked pirate

Good to see you on here again and pointblank radio has hardly changed atall from the pirate day's still got quite a few quality djs with out the loud in your face style that too many others had and as for 87.5 livefmuk are still going although I doubt if you can get it in your area and I have heard loads of mentions for you on pointblank

Car radios are crap now, I used to able to listen to my 4w with just the dipole in the loft every were, think it was a ford 6000 rds you would often hear Lyric fm going over bridges on it, it was just am/fm had ceramic filters in it, like a minature version of a hifi tuner. Our car radio now is a combined fm/am/dab bluetooth, on fm you just pick up blank carriers and internally generated interference, everyones in car transmitters, making it impossible to do now.
