A new sensitive FM car radio ?

Post by FMEnjoyer » Fri Sep 27, 2019 4:37 pm

I know some were talking about some older Kenwood ones for listening at distance but have not quite got the money for that, they are about 90 second hand I think. Also nice to have a little guarantee in case it breaks anyone know something you can get from Argos or ebay good on FM receive for the car that is around £ 50-60.00 :tup

I had some cheap Chinese polar radio to tide me over that cost £11.99 off ebay, it could barely pick up anything.

I’ve found the car radios in most Japanese import cars are quite sensitive (if they don’t have band expanders fitted), a Honda Fit I once had could pickup the most weakest distant signals but only below 90MHz - and it also managed to tune the coppers RT’s around 76MHz.

Blaupunkt make some pretty decent FM car radios.
