pirate radio and internet radio?

Post by drumandbasshead010 » Fri Mar 04, 2016 11:30 pm

hi yall didn't no where to post this but decided on lpr seeing as it's the most popular forum. just wanted to point something out. everyone keeps on about "internet radio and dab will change everything." I'm sorry but when? I mean if you lock onto an online station the most you'll get is about 500 to 750, and that'll be on a day when the fm is off trust me! I really like the internet sure, and internet is sure a great thing but it's not taking over in any way the way people think it is. And as for DAB, no better. I have nothing against internet radio in anyway, it would be a good way forward, but the papers and interviewers on pirate radio dj's are overdoing it, "Now that stations can broadcast around the world for free legally what's the need for pirate radio?" Well maybe if internet stations were actually more popular there wouldn't be! but they aren't
