The stream is silent also. Perhapse they have gone off again and they haven't realised it yet? Did you report it to them?

No . If comreg were out we'd know as we would have heard about it.

Incorrect. the transmitter is a new newstalk 106 108 transmitter, as mentioned in the band scan thread on the other forum we both read.

Yes, been on since friday i believe. They will have to switch off from time to time as 94.3 is a preferred frequency for temp licences.

hasn't been updated for a while and a lot has changed so might as well add the following:
only stations currently on air in Dublin are 90's and heat, and 90's are planning to close to try and apply for a license end of october, it is believed that comreg were out in dublin on Friday.
there is also a station called kiss fm on 101.5 broadcasting in the tallaght area at nighttime which sometimes relays kiss100 London.
Storm Northeast 104.2 relaying nonstop 90's
New station popped on 87.8 in cork called play fm playing random pop and dance music.
station on 105.0 in mayo on evenings and weekends no rds as of yet.

Phever and the others should be back soon. the superstation has gone back to soulcity again. 90s will be a loss to the airwaves.

Update.

Dublin.

sadly it seems rince on 88.1 were raided today by comreg. Best of luck to them, hopefully they will be back on the airwaves quickly. they are still online. All other stations are off fm. Hopefully they will all be back on soon. Nonstop 90s is to close at the end of the weekend. they are apparently applying for a licence, hopefully they will be lucky and will be back on the airwaves again. They will be a great loss, they were a breath of fresh air. they're is certainly a market for them.

Not pirate (well it's slightly as the station was a former pirate) dublin and ireland's only licenced indi and alternative radio station tx fm (formerly phantom fm) closed on wednesday at around 8 pm. the transmitter went off straight after the last song, a song by pulp with possibly the longest outro i have ever heard. It is a great loss to the radio airwaves for those who like that type of music. the licence ran out and as far as i know they're were no expressions of interest when the licence was advertised earlier in the year. sadly not surprising as it being expected to operate as a full service with all the restrictive and burdinsome regulations like the full service stations, was likely not going to be sustainible long term for a niche format station. Best of luck to the staff and hopefully they will find new employment quickly if they haven't all ready.

Nonstop 90s closed their fm outlet yesterday at 7pm. They were relayed by a number of other stations across the country. they will be a loss to the airwaves, and they join a growing list of professional outfits who have operated on the irish airwaves. Hopefully they will be back on some day, but for now they can still be heard online.
Here is the audio of the final couple of hours, it's taken from the stream rather then the fm. Unfortunately they're was some skipping on the stream but the fm was unefected.

only pirates that now remain in Dublin are a weak relay of no.1fm covering a small area and kiss fm in tallaght, both on 105.7fm. NLR Roots will probably also be on 87.6 on sunday. I wonder if these are officially the last days of the pirates?
