I didn't forget it. I didn't bother to include it as it is rarely on air from what i can gather. If that changes i will include it.

not too sure. it just advertises events on facebook and rarely mentions the actual station.

what's the story in London with automation? is every station like kool, flex and origin with djs all day? in Ireland, stations have shows just in the evenings with the exception of phever which has djs all day and a few like storm 104.2 are always on automation.

not always true. depending on the day they will have shows during the day. it's simply when djs are availible to do shows.

92.0 soulcity radio have jingles now, have no idea if live programing is planned.
non stop 90s have moved or plan to move off 88.1 it seems, and will use 107.1. they broadcasted on both frequencies for a while.

the link works for me, what are you using to play it? maybe try /listen.m3u instead of /listen.pls?

/listen.m3u says invalid source. I'm just using Windows media player.

what kind of coverage area would a London station have? in Ireland we have a station in Dublin which works for about 3 miles and another that can be heard for 80-90 miles with rds and many more without.

The London dial is very packed and there's a lot of stations on or close to the same frequencies just outside (or still in) the area which can highly restrict your coverage.

Some London stations have very limited coverage and vanish less then than 10 miles away.
But you should expect to hear a station a least a good 20 to 30 miles away in the car if it's coming from a good location and sometimes even up to 50+ miles way.

...As for 80-90 miles with RDS that won't ever happen, not even with the much higher powered London commercial stations (Kiss, Magic etc). But we don't have your mountains over here! The highest hilltop TX sites being used by pirates in London are only approx 100-150m ASL.

I'd rather not comment on what kind of power I think Kool 94.6 are using for obvious reasons.

.....But in London the average TX power usually varies from around 100-300w with a small percentage kicking out as much as 600w ERP. Around summer last year a certain station was running as much as 950w from a tower block in west London but as for the ERP I'd expect that was lower than the TX because they used a chopped down CB radio antenna.

Going back just few years it was quite rare to see anyone pushing out more than 100-150w.

ya get the kool fm power thing. pirates run tings (pardon the pun) slightly differently in Ireland things would be a lot more laid back, frequencies are shouted out as much as a licensed station (in London a lot are on fm but model as internet stations) and power, height and locations are a lot more spoken about, probably because the irish radio authorities (comreg, our Ofcom) only come out about once every 6 months on a raiding voyage.

No, they don't. The last known raid was either very early last year, or late 2014.
