I like this! Thanks for putting it together.

A couple of bits that might help:

I haven't heard MAR on 105 or 108 for some time. I'm not sure that they use these frequencies any more.

Radio Caroline North was a RSL in Liverpool in 2014. Has there been a pirate in recent years in Merseyside with that name as well? The RSL did have some familiar voices on from the local scene!

What is 87.7 Radio Sangara? I've never heard this. There's a station on 87.7 that pops up for usually around 2 and a half hours on a Sunday afternoon sometimes and occasional Saturdays (and even a weekday once recently). I've no idea what it is and it goes through periods where it's on most weeks and then periods of absence. It's just non stop music with occasional old jingles (extended song-style things) which are very generic. Is this Sangara? If so, how do you know? Or is Sangara something different?

Unique on 91.8 is actually Unique Xtra and their website is www.uniquextra.co.uk

There is a blank carrier on 108 which I'm 99% sure isn't an iTrip, maybe an old MAR rig?

87.5 probably has had Caroline North on at some point as well as being an RSL (which would be on 87.7, not .5).

I did see a station on 87.7 the other week while I was looking for MAR, was just playing music and signal was quite weak at my location so I couldn't ID it, but I'll take a look this Sunday to see if you're right. Wasn't on for long.

Also, isn't The Rock on 87.8 a London station?

I need to go through all the scans and update them at some point. The Rock on 87.8 reaches parts outside of London so it was included. The same goes for TF Live and UK Raw/Innocence (when they last for more then 5 mins).

I haven't heard anything on 108 for ages - I'll keep checking that.

The Radio Caroline North RSL wasn't 87.5 - I think it was 87.7 but it was a few years ago now. I wonder if the 87.5 thing should be Radio Jackie North rather that Radio Caroline North. MAR used to do a weekend every year IDing as Radio Jackie North as a tribute. I'm not sure if they still do it though - but I think that's maybe what the entry in the listing at the top is supposed to be.

It sounds like what you're hearing on 87.7 is the same as me. It is just non-stop music and quite a mix as well - you often hear James and George Formby!

87.7 may well be a low power relay of Caroline. I recommend comparing it with the stream the next time you hear it as I won't be back up that way for a very long time :tup

I guess Amble FM in Northumberland also counts as a pirate, I just love that pirate adult contemporary :whistle.
