Getting weak on the hills of Oldham Town Centre tonight, but the tunes are really decent.

Brings back memories of Mitsubishi's at £15 a piece. Lol.

Getting it quite well also in Tameside Greater Manchester, another station sometimes breaks though on the same frequency playing mostly Reggie type music.

If it's coming from the same place as it always used to that's a very good distance and to get it at a good signal from there is very impressive.

I haven't noticed it here before. Perhaps that's because the broadcasts appear to be relatively few and far between, but it may be that they have moved location. Was getting about 16db on a portable Xdata radio.

I used to hear it occasionally about 12 years ago when I lived in Manchester, was on 87.6 back then but only came on a few random Saturdays.

....As far as I'm aware it's coming from close to the Liverpool area, so if it still is and you've got it 16dB on a portable radio in Birmingham, then it's f*cking boooooming!

So I gather from what you're saying it was more local to the West Midlands and not coming from the north west?
