Getting Base FM at my location tonight thanks to very good tropo/SpE. Sometimes get a faint signal of Today FM from Ireland on 101.4 but Base is the only signal tonight. http://g33ky.xyz/basefm.mp4

They got raided today by ofcom a former dj told me hence there off but I'm sure there be back

Wouldn't surprise me if someone complained, they got out pretty far into Cheshire and beyond. If your block is pretty untouchable you can get away with mega power but if it's vulnerable it's risky.

I live 20 miles north of Manchester but there is a station transmitting in Irish on 101.4fm which always cuts in to them, but tonight I'm still only getting the Irish
A few years ago a few of us put a 150w transmitter on a big hill around here on 101.5fm which was reaching past Manchester and getting Liverpool and Yorkshire but the station in Irish was a big problem towards Preston

Today FM is 400kW from the south east of Ireland so can be heard quite clearly along the west coast of England and into Wales
