Well I wasn't expecting to suddenly hear that, I didn't think there was any more community stations coming to London after the last load of them was awarded.
....I wonder what frequency they will be allocated.

Yeah the other two stations are:
Croydon FM (Croydon FM C.I.C), Croydon and surrounding areas
Contact: Phoebe Hershdorfer ([email protected])
Website: www.croydonfm.com
Croydon FM will serve the culturally and ethnically diverse community of Croydon and surrounding areas. It will provide a platform for local music talent as well as taking part in community outreach and fundraising.
Rainbow Radio (Rainbow Broadcasting Limited), Forest Hill and surrounding areas
Contact: Mac Amoah ([email protected])
Website: www.rainbowradio.co.uk
Rainbow Radio will offer a range of musical genres, as well as speech programmes in a variety of languages, for the African migrant community living and working in south London. The station will also provide opportunities for local people to get involved.

I would not be surprised if 94.3 and 94.5 fm were used because they were talking about them before being on ofcoms list and I can't think of the last one?

I have to admit I wasn’t aware Ofcom was awarding any licenses ATM. I wonder where abouts on the dial the 3 London based stations will be.

Fair play though to Select as they have worked hard to get where they are and they are very very professional with their outlet and social media presence. The next station to get awarded will be PULSE88 I think as they are very professional

Re: Select (99.3) licensed.
Vision didn't apply plus their style of presentation probably wouldn't fit Ofcom's shitty regulations. I'd rather stay as a pirate than be bound by regulation. And to be fair there is a pretty significant African population in London so it makes sense for there to be an African station (even if said station is utter shite).

Been told it's still on but not completely silent, like there is some quiet white noise as if the link is either switched off or LNB disconnected.
