Loud and clear around SE London down to Croydon at the weekend. Silent carrier last night.

Anyone know why they use two slots on the dial?

Is their signal on 92.6 the same strength? If not I'd assume they have TXs in separate areas of London for a) more coverage and b) as a backup. Wish they'd just use the one slot like everyone else but who am I to judge :whistle.

As far as I know they haven't been on 92.6 for ages they for some reason keep the 926 in their name

Yes it's a bit weird listening to 878 and hearing the ident say 926. More so if they're not on 926 at all.

Mystery.

Exactly the rock 878 would sound okay maybe they think 926 is a lucky number and I think its been about 3 years now since 926 was used?

It was unwise to include the fm freq in the online brand. Maybe they're just trying to distance the two?

As far as I am aware the audio is not the same on 87.8 and 92.6.
