picked this receiver up recently does this look any to you guys?

The voltage drop resistor looks a bit burnt out, could do with a 5v regulator instead.

Remove it and use a 7805 regulator instead. Where the red power wire goes on to the sat can, put your regulator + input on to there and your 5v + output to where the resistor was connected to. Obviously the regulator needs to be connected to ground too.
