Portable radio recommendations

Post by whitenoisedb » Thu Aug 26, 2021 3:49 pm

I’m looking for a portable receiver with RDS, I have a Tecsun PL-380 which is great but lacks RDS which I’d like to have. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks

That looks really good. If you have a bottomless pit of cash consider the Sony XDR-P1DBP, its tiny, super sensitive and you get DAB thrown in. :)

Thanks, I did take a look at that model. I think I’ll be settling for one of these https://www.radiomasterlist.com/en/xhda ... d-808.html

I’ve no experience of the brand but from I’ve read they seem to be good

Just following up on this to say I bought the above and am very happy with it. It's not cheap but gives everything I wanted in one receiver

Full specs here in case anyone is interested https://xhdata.com.cn/products/xhdata-d ... m-clock-55
