What type of potentiometer is this?

Everything technical about radio can be discussed here, whether it's transmitting or receiving. Guides, charts, diagrams, etc. are all welcome.

What type of potentiometer is this?

Hello again fellow necks,

Does anyone know what the part number is for this variable pot? Its used for bias adjustment on one of those blue CCL boards. The board has gone into self oscillation, and the pot just turns round and round in both directions which isn't normal! Someone also changed one of the LPF coils from a 4t to a 1t mess so am also concerned about that!

Cheers

That adjustable resistor is just a normal SMD one, well, the cheapest one... It is normal that it turns around all the way, because these models usually don't have any detent.
In the metal part, under that dust, they have the value stamped, or, if it is not burnt, you can ohm it with a multimeter.

Hmm, maybe it burnt out from all the dust. I will see if I can clean it up and get a good look at the value.
