anyone know the original of this ,an advanced that have temp,swr and pwr reading and deviation meter ,in one pic micro controller ,i have never seen that pll before

That looks like a lot of work to get 4 Watts at best.

I'd use the oscillator and buffer stages to drive a pair of BFG135 for about 500mW and then stick an RD15HVF on the end for 10 - 15 Watts out easily.

This is not a RDVV
The RF part is a old $w design from me and the original design use normal PLL with 4059 etc
this was a project of a guy "martin"but never completed
He made a design using my RF stage and the PLL part of the RDVV

The second 2N4427 was for power adj
In the day we had 1000s of them
Now i wish that i still had them :(

Teckniqs - where did you find that? It's very familiar! That reminds me a lot of a board in a box that came from a guy that I know very well.

Someone I used to be in contact with built it. I don't know where they got the design from and I'm no longer in contact with them to find out.

That's a shame, because one of the guys that works for me used to supply little boxed exciters just like that. He had problems with the PLL in them, so I redesigned it for him, and even did a new PCB layout for him. We used some of the improved version of that exciter in some of the gear that we supplied in the late 80s, and early 90s.
