How would I go about properly matching stages without effectively doing it blind. Iv built a few amps but I can never get full optimisation out of the devices because everything’s slightly off tune.
I usually just guess and trial and error everything by touching caps on certain points, checking the current, transistor temp and rf wattage.
Iv used trimmers but they’re getting hard to find and I still can’t get full power. How would I get it matched and happy?
