Just Read something about FreeDAB ( Ireland ) on this forum.
Did i understand correctly that they are operating without a license? If so, isn't this a huge risk of getting caught because of 24/7 operation?

FreeDAB is indeed without a license. I'm no expert on the likelihood of Irish FM raids but it's unknown if FreeDAB will get shut off by the authorities as DAB has never been tried for pirate radio. Personally I think it will survive if it can stay financially viable as DAB is largely unnoticed in Ireland.

Thur the 20th of Feb the Dublin site was raided, the mux, mast, cables.. Everything was pulled down.
The other mux sites are still in operation around rhe country.
