Post by SamTheDog » Thu Dec 12, 2019 11:51 am

Hi All.
Just replaced some of the components on the PA board of my Skanti TRP8255 Does anyone here know the bias-setup for the class AB driver and final?

Cheers....

The initial setup I'm using is to set the bias so the pairs are sitting at half supply-rail..... (drivers and finals). Supply on the finals is 47.8v. so biased to just under 24v on the outputs. thats just under 4v on the bias-pin. Anyone tuned one of these wideband PAs before?

Getting this SSB set to go back into use for next weekends broadcasts. Currently it's putting 130watts PEP into the ATU and 45foot end-fed.
