Buying kits these days

Everything technical about radio can be discussed here, whether it's transmitting or receiving. Guides, charts, diagrams, etc. are all welcome.

Buying kits these days

Post by Uksoundz » Fri Nov 08, 2019 8:04 pm

Anywhere where you can buy cheap good quality transmitter kits these days? I remember the Veronica and NRG kits sites from the late 90's early 00's but these seem to be gone. I see NRG is still going in NZ but I'm sure the shipping times/costs might make this prohibitive these days.
I've also checked out the Dutch RF shop and the 6w kit looks good but seems to be out of stock and has been for a bit!

Any others around? Fancy getting me soldering iron out again...

The shipping from NZ to the UK is usually around 7 working days - I also provide two shipping options, tracked and non-tracked.

For small packets, eg transmitter kits, the tracked option is around $60 NZ (£30), and the un-tracked option is around $20 NZ (£10).

Larger items like boxed transmitters are a bit more in shipping.
