So i did some testing yesterday and the performance was all good! :)

60 Watts was no problem with only a gradual rise in temperature over a substantial length of time.

The tests indicate that it could sustain a relatively high dissipation of power, however it takes an equal amount of time to recover from such an application, if not longer!

I do hope that you are referring to Sinusoidal difficulties and have no need to see a doctor!

Now I wait.. And I might sleep.

I bought 4, they sent 8.
Just got them this morning.
Ive a nice large heatsink from an elenos here I can mount them to.

Gunna use a chassis mount ntype because I'll never really be testing anything greater than 5 or 600w.

I have a question for :whistle

Is the tab totally isolated from the 100 Ohms ?
:smoke
Or is the tab one connection of the 100 Ohms ?

BTW: have you finished yours, if so have you a pic :tup

Thanks in advance ;)

parallel serial connection of resistors give you 50R

That design is useless if you can't isolate the heatsink

Yes Two types of dummy loads... i buy few and combine to reach 50R....
