Looking for an antenna that I can’t remember the name of. I swear sounds fm used to use them. The were just straight up antennas with a coil at the bottom and what looked like an upside down funnel over it. Iv only ever know it as a high gain antenna, but obviously, nothing comes up on google for that.
Also does anyone know how to build one ?

Nrg half wave vertical? There were some build docs knocking around but they were so vague they didn’t really help.
