Hi, I'm travelling to Gloucester soon, any pirates I can look out for in that area?
Also I'll be travelling to Cornwall soon too, don't suppose theirs any activity down there is there?

Nothing around that area as far as I'm aware but you do get the occasional pirate signal around Gloucester coming down from Birmingham area.

As far as Cornwall is concerned I believe there has been absolute 'zilch' for well over a decade! ...Last thing I heard of that came on from there was Juice FM from Newquay, it lasted about a week before the authorities closed it down and it never returned!

Just around Birmingham right now and not a zip. I've got a silent carrier on 92.0 but no RDS, other than that not a sausage.

Nothing up in Gloucester that I know of, only a community station.

Juice in Newquay lasted more than a week ;0)

There was also a chart / oldies station in Newquay
a few years ago, never caught the id, it was non-stop music.

Bank holiday weekends south of Gloucester you may get something on 87.6fm
But it's hit and miss.

Birmingham is dead at the moment, guess ofcom have been out as most of the regulars are off. And slowly they are permanently disappearing one by one...

There was a Frenzy FM around Surrey about 20 years ago.

I went to Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Reading in the space of 10 days in August and forgot to scan for pirates... actually tell as lie I did when staying with a friend in Reading but her radio was one of them that only locks if a strong signal is around so only picked up shitty Heart and the BBC stations. Is there anything up in the north east? Eston way maybe? or central Newcastle? I'll be heading back up to them parts for another rave at some point so if anyone lives that way on here let me know if there is anything.

There aren't any pirates in Gloucester so anyone going for that day job is on to a loser....
