Did a run to lewes Saturday and then sat on ditchling beacon eating lunch, could hear loads of stations most legal. not great reception tho on the few pirates except 97.9 so must be local? No rds.

you ran up the beacon? or did you come from brighton and run down? i have enough trouble on my motorbike getting up that hill.. hahaa.. specially with all them cyclists trying to get up it too. i see people get literally 1 corner in and give up..

There's been a station on the East Sussex coast very close to the West Sussex border popping up on 97.9 occasionally over the last few years. Last thing I heard it was called InFront FM.

97.9 is on again.

A lot stronger in Worthing today with solid signal but no RDS, was very weak last time I heard it.

Could it be Lush FM coming in from Portsmouth?

Met the guy who runs Lush a few months back, briefly. As far as I know it's not running from the high site it was at a couple of years back. When it was on 87.9 it got out very well, clear in Worthing and even in many parts of Brighton.

Yeah, sounds about right, I can't get them any more and I live about 5 miles from the site.
