Sadly yes. If it wasn't for the radio set up I would only hear the obvious one. If it wasn't for all the South Down hills directly north of me I'd be getting so much more like you can as soon as you get north of them!

...Radio 4A are a bit better this afternoon, just about listenable when but for the past week they've been badly over-modding!!!

Unfortunately not, I probably would if it wasn't for the Radio 1 TX in Peacehaven about 15-20 miles or so from me along the south coast on 99.3, think it's about 100w but it's solid here so no chance of DXing Select!
