Not even a pirate and the signal goes to far for a community license.

When 107.3 FLR/Fusion FM came from Bredgar in Lewisham they would often get obliterated by stations coming on 107.3 and 107.4, before they left the air they were given a huge power increase to try and help to tackle these problems. I think they were originally 50w or 100w and given a huge power increase to 800w ERP (like Jackie 107.8).

The reason Rep is using 300w is because of the same problems and they come from a much higher location than Bredgar so 300w would certainly be enough from up there, as opposed to the 800w that was apparently required for Lewisham site...

According to that it says it's 180w but I've heard elsewhere it's a TX300 running full power.

Unfortunately I can't see the TX point on their coverage map any more on UKFree.tv, going by the picture it looks like they are coming from bang between the centre of the small circle, it also appears they are using a directional array facing SW but doesn't count for much seeing as they can be heard London wide.

I phoned them, they are coming from Sunbury Cross on low site usually 25w but running at lower power 12w.
They were granted their community license in April of last year and they go off air or have to renew their license in 2016.

The guy seemed pretty sound actually, I asked why he didn't get it up on the blocks and he said the best rental he could get was £200 a week from the Premier Inn Tower so they aborted the idea. They are using a comet straight antenna 5/8 wave.
