I keep getting this strange thing on 106.5 past few days. No id. No talking. Just what sounds like a constant loop of a tune (ie:minimal House music)
Hitting very clear in Guildford with occasional bleed over from Heart fm.
Anyone know what it is?

Project don't reach Guildford at all and certainly not very clear, this sounds like something new has popped up.
Keep your ears out and us updated.

Project's audio is really quiet 1 of the quietest i have heard and they are 1 of the only stations that play the type you described infact its quite rare to find a station that plays just that as the music is very underground, but no way would they reach that far out, unless there is a Surrey relay on that same dial

Surely nobody is relaying that, on the same frequency too?

Just to clarify, don't Project have a stream? I'm sure by checking the output of both it will confirm for him that its not them?

Project do get out well, it might not be them though as from where they broadcast from, guilford is a long way away, so i reckon teckniqs is correct.

Take into account Im at a bottom of a hill. The only other stations I can get (using a dipole in a loft) is Flex / Raw and some reggae station on 95.5 which is booming signal. Not alot of choice tho my way on the fm dial.

Its most probably not project then. Try matching the FM to projects stream.
