Radio 1 Yorkshire..

Sorry not pirate related but radio 1 on 99.5 in Sheffield and 98.9 Yorkshire audio is coming out of one channel and really loud, I mean LOUD... Too loud even the worst pirate wouldn't be that loud....From 98.1 up to 99.5 are the same.. Only 97.9 fm (the one that gets all over) is fine and dandy..

don't know but I got radio 4 sprogging on 87.55 (see other thread) or someone transmitting it to the north, anyway I always found it cool how that signal 98.9 reaches all the way to the coast, actually listen on the beech behide clifs

I tuned into 98.9 when I saw this message and heard it. Something screwed with the audio distribution chain I think... Sounded like the crazy level on that left channel was being reigned in by limiting, possibly locally. Nice separation on my receiver! :) Best I've head Radio 1 sound in years!

98.9 kept going off air completely then returning silent in mono with no rds, was happening for a good few hours

Pmsl @shuffy.. Yes they sounded a lot better than usual lol...
