Irie Is not back on

Only stations that are on are

Silk 90.0
Hot92 92.0
Sting 97.5

As I'm aware ofcom has be hitting the Birmingham area hard ..

Irie Busted
Distinct Busted
Mix FM Busted
Noize UK Busted

The owners have being to court ..
There is also Kriss on 95.1

Buzz is on 103.4 but agreed, it's not up to much.

Genesis in Birmingham was on 101.2 not the same frequency as the London one. It's been off for a while though.

That's about all, now. So boring these days...

Seems like it, now they seem to have scrapped Vibez FM and gone back to Distinct!

Pirates heard this weekend going from central Brum to Wolves on the tram:

Central
92.0 - Hot 92
97.5 - Sting Dem

Heading towards Wolves
89.7 - BCMR
90.0 - Unid (see below)
95.1 - Kriss Radio

So, still a little bit of action in W.Mids.

Re: 90.0

I assume this is pirate. Pure pop music (what's the point?), automated, no jingles at all. Stereo signal, looks like an RDS signal in there but might be false (so possibly a Chinese rig). I couldn't get anywhere that it was strong enough to make the RDS come in. Audio seemed a touch lower than other stations. It wasn't over a wide area, I expect the tram travels through the fringes of the signal or it's very local and low power on a low site.

The Pirate Archive forum used to be good for this kind of news, but they've all lost interest in posting cause it's mostly just Hot, Sting and Kriss up there now, and none of those guys are really into that kind of stuff. So, I don't think either of those are on these days.

It crossed my mind 90.0 might be Silk, but from what I've read Silk was more south Birmingham, whereas this was NW.

Yes, not much going on round here any more! Sting and Hot 92 still at it pretty consistently but Brum otherwise dead! 90.0 I can't get here - Silk went off at least a year ago I think - can't quite remember now.
